Ingenia Receives $1.5 Billion Takeover Proposal

Australian property and lifestyle business Ingenia Communities has received a A$2.2 billion, about $1.5 billion, takeover proposal from AVID Property Group. The proposal is backed by a global sovereign wealth fund and financial sponsor and is higher than an earlier Warburg Pincus offer.
