VEON Announces US$207 Million Acquisition of Uzbekistan’s Perfectum Operator

On 19 October, VEON announced an agreement to acquire 100% of Rubicon Wireless, which operates as Perfectum in Uzbekistan, for approximately US$207 million, including around US$93 million in outstanding financial debt. Completion was expected by the end of October, subject to the announced transaction process; corporate-finance advisers can explore valuation, due diligence and integration opportunities, while HPC can support investment modelling and financial analysis, noting that US$207 million is the transaction consideration rather than an advisory fee.
