Uzbekistan Includes Medical Technology Cooperation in Its U.S. Investment Programme

On 19 October, Uzbekistan’s package of 54 agreements and prospective initiatives with U.S. partners included cooperation involving GE HealthCare and medical technologies. The overall package was valued at approximately US$12 billion upon implementation, but no separate healthcare project budget or equipment contract value was disclosed; medical suppliers and healthcare providers can explore opportunities in diagnostic technology and hospital systems, while HPC can support healthcare data management, operational analytics and digital infrastructure.
