Kenya Advances KSh 651 Billion Railway Extension and Regional Infrastructure Plans

Reporting published on 23 October highlighted the KSh 651 billion budget for extending the Standard Gauge Railway towards Malaba. Separately, Kenya’s Roads for Rural Economic Development Project published a general procurement notice on 20 October linked to US$600 million in intended financing. These figures relate to distinct infrastructure initiatives and should not be combined into one contract.
